Forging a Brighter Future: NYSC Oyo State Coordinator’s Historic Visit to Accessible Publishers Ltd/Best In Print Academy
Wednesday, November 20th, 2024, marked a milestone in the annals of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Oyo State, as Coordinator Mr. Odoba Abel Oche led a delegation to Accessible Publishers Ltd’s Corporate Headquarters, aptly named the ‘Knowledge Hub’.
The team, comprising Mr. Kola Oladele (Media Head), Barrister Dolapo Adaramodu (Personal Assistant), Mrs. Adewa A. An (Ibadan North West Local Government Inspector), and Mr. Bode (the driver), received a warm welcome from Mr. Gbadega Adedapo, MD, Accessible Publishers Ltd and Chairman, Best In Print Academy.
The atmosphere was electric, filled with excitement and anticipation, as Mr. Adedapo highlighted the numerous opportunities available to Corps Members at Best In Print Academy. He emphasized the importance of skills acquisition for gainful employment, urging NYSC Management to collaborate and partner with the Academy ¹.
Responding, Mr. Oche, visibly impressed by the reception, praised the Management of Accessible Publishers Ltd/Best In Print Academy. “Our partnership speaks volumes,” he said, underscoring the significance of knowledge, character, skills, and training in achieving success.
Describing the Knowledge Hub as a Capacity Building hub, Mr. Oche promised to create synergy between Best In Print Academy and NYSC. He challenged Corps Members to strive for excellence: “If you want to be a star, have a scar. If you are not in the Academy, you are an enemy.”
The visit featured a mutual exchange of corporate gifts as a symbol of the newfound partnership between NYSC and Accessible Publishers Ltd/Best In Print Academy. Mr. Adedapo also donated ₦1M to NYSC for the Iseyin camp project.
Other highlights included a tour of Best In Print Facilities, showcasing the state-of-the-art infrastructure and resources available to Corps Members. Group photographs were taken in commemoration of the historic visit and the beginning of a fruitful partnership.
Present at the visit were: Mr. Gbadega Adedapo (MD, Accessible Publishers Ltd/Proprietor, Best In Print Academy), Mr. Olufemi Timothy Ogunyejo (Registrar), Mr. Taiwo Akanni (General Manager, Operations), Ms. Samuella Ndaeyo (Admin. Manager), Mr. Tosin Akeredolu (Personal Assistant to the Proprietor/Customer Relations Manager), Mr. Dapo Adebayo (Digital Media Head), Mr. Caleb Akinmola (Publishing Manager), and host of others.
As the delegation departed, the excitement was palpable, with all parties eagerly anticipating the transformative impact of this new partnership. The collaboration between NYSC and Accessible Publishers Ltd/Best In Print Academy is poised to empower Corps Members with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their future endeavors.
