Empowering Youths, Transforming Communities: Hon. Sikiru Sanda’s Visit to Best In Print Academy
Today, Wednesday, December 4th, 2024, the Executive Chairman, Egbeda Local Government, and Chairman, Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON), Oyo State Chapter, Ambassador Hon. Sikiru Sanda, paid a courtesy visit to Best In Print Academy, Ibadan.
Hon. Sanda, who was recently honored with the Grand Ambassador of Ibadan Culture (GAIC) award for his exceptional passion and commitment to promoting Ibadan culture and values , was warmly received by the Proprietor/Chairman, Governing Council, Mr. Adedapo Gbadega, and the management staff.
The Proprietor, Mr. Gbadega Adedapo, shared his vision for establishing the academy, emphasizing the need to empower youths with job opportunities, create wealth for the society, and bridge the knowledge gap in the Nigerian publishing and printing business.
He highlighted the academy’s commitment to providing high-quality education and training in printing technology, graphics design, and publishing.
In his welcome address, the Registrar, Mr. Olufemi Timothy Ogunyejo acknowledged and appreciated Hon. Sikiru Sanda’s visit, describing it as a testament to his commitment to academic excellence, job creation, youth empowerment, and grassroots development.
The Registrar highlighted the academy’s state-of-the-art facilities, equipment, and experienced professionals, which provide students with hands-on training and expertise.
Hon. Sanda was visibly impressed by the facilities and equipment during his tour, commending Mr. Gbadega Adedapo as an “uncommon entrepreneur” whose patriotism to Oyo State and Nigeria’s development is invaluable.
He described the establishment of Best In Print Academy as a “good development” that will help reduce unemployment and encourage youths to take advantage of the opportunities available.
